An Afternoon at Bend Wine Cellar (VIDEO)

April 26th, 2010 in In The Neighborhood by Martha Hendrick

What do you do with 100 cases of wine and nowhere to put them? For Dennis and Diane Sienko, the answer was to open up Bend, Oregon’s premier wine storage facility. In addition to 50 private lockers in the climate controlled basement, Bend Wine Cellar also offers an excellent selection of wines for sale and a tasting area for the frequent wine tastings.

I had the opportunity to hang out at the Bend Wine Cellar the other week to talk with Dennis and Dianne, chat with some of the regulars, and drink some great wine! If you’ve never been, Bend Wine Cellar always has an incredible selection, the best prices and interesting conversations about Bend, life and wine.

Of course, as a realtor I always love to hear what brought people to Bend, Oregon. They’re usually drawn to the outdoor activities, fresh air and a relaxed lifestyle, but how each person made that leap is always a good story to tell- especially over a glass of red!

Thank you to Dennis, Diane and everyone who took the time to speak with me during my afternoon at Bend Wine Cellar!
